British Fast Draw Competitions 2008

BFDA Southern Regional Fast Draw Competition.

The BFDA will hold the First Southern Regional Fast Draw Competition of 2008, on Saturday 15th March 2008, at The home of Whitchurch Westerners, Testbourne Community School, Whitchurch, Hampshire.

Practice and Qualifying will commence at 1400 hrs. 

The British Fast Draw Association 2008 National Championships

This will be held at Testbourne Comminuty School Whitchurch, ***Postponed until Further Notice***

The BFDA will be running further Regional Competitions throughout the year as venues become available.

If you are a westerner and enjoy the sport of fast draw shooting then why not join the BFDA. Be part of a fast growing association bringing westerners together from all parts of the country.

Almost all western clubs shoot fast draw in one form or another, so why not join the BFDA and compete in championship and national events in all parts of the country. Compete for Trophies and medals, and chance to become area or National Champion.

Let’s bring fast draw under one banner, give us a voice when that terrible time comes and the government of the day decide to ban all blank firing guns. They banned hand guns in 1997 are we next?. With ten thousand members they might be prepared to listen to us. Shoot under strictly controlled conditions, in a controlled area with safety marshals on hand to ensure that both members of the watching public and fellow shooters are in complete safety. Lets show the powers to be just how professional and safety conscious we are.

Back in the 70s we had area and national championship events in all parts of the country with sponsors putting up venues, trophies and cash prizes. If we all band together then maybe we can bring those times back again.

Membership to the BFDA is £5 per year. Complete the membership application and enclose a photograph of yourself that you would like on your membership card and mail to the address shown. You will be kept up to date with all events and all that is happening in fast draw today.

We are always looking for other Fast Draw Clubs/Organisations that are running in the UK so that we may look into holding Fast Draw Competitions in other parts of the country and so that we can build a list of of clubs/organisations for others to visit.
